1. What is acid rain: Acid rain is rain containing acid in it so when it falls from the sky it causes lots of problems.

3. Causes of acid rain: Acid rain is created when greenhouse gases are produced when produced by factories and pollution it goes into the atmosphere and into the water in the clouds when in the water it becomes acidic and when it falls from the sky it is acidic.

4. Effects of acid rain: Acid rain can cause multiple problems such as corroding things making them break it can also kill plants destroy wildlife and pollute rivers and lakes.

5. What can be done about it how can we stop it from happening: First of all we could try to find ways to create products without producing greenhouse gasses if not we could try reducing it we should also stop polluting the environment and try to pick up rubbish and other things polluting the environment.

year 10 DTE Sphero work

What have I learned so far about Sphero's and coding in the robotics section of DTE So far in this topic I have learned about basic coding and done some basic activities like learning how to move it around and coding basic like that then after that I made some basic games like the toss game and the hot potato game I also did some coding on my Chromebook on coding websites to code things in the digital world unlike the Sphero's in the real world I also was going to make my own Sphero game from what I had learned from the other Sphero and coding things however I was not here for some of the days I was making the game so I did not do the coding for the game however I made a plan for my game on google docks here is the link for it MySpherogameplan I also did some other stuff with the Sphero like just rolling it around with the controller I also used the draw option and moved it by drawing lines and making the Sphero follow them and I also did some other coding stuff with other things aswell.

How did I creat my game? The first thing I did to create my game was to watch the video of how to make the toss game when I had created that it was time for me to put my things in it the timer and the colure challenge I did not code it and because of that I do not really know exactly what I would have done to code my game but I might of added some new variables for the timer and would have had to go to the lights and sounds area to get some light blocks to change its color however I would of had to get some other things to make it know what the colures mean and add new variables and a new timer so it does not stay one color otherwise the game would not work and be ruined after I had done that I would have to find a way to put the two things I have just made together and also find a way to make the two things go with the rest of the coding I had used to make the toss game after I do that the game would be ready to play and completly finished.

Zootopia essay

How Nick and Judy have changed throughout the film Zootopia . This was shown in when Judy and Nick are first seen in the movie also when they are seen in the middle and at the end. My essay will be about how the characters change from what they are like at the start of the film to what they are like at the end. At the start of the film in the first scene we meet Judy one of 2 main characters at the start of the movie she is a lot different to the end and I'm going the talk about those changes i'm also going the be talking about how Nick changed as well. So at the start of the film during the first scene at the play we see judy for the first time at the start she thinks anyone can be anything and that everybody lives in harmony she also wants to be a police officer and to make the world a different place however she was wrong but i'm not talking about it yet because that is later on the movie. Now let's discuss Nick, so Nick isn't seen write at the start of the movie but is still seen at the start area of the movie when Nick is first seen he looks like just a nice dad but after would just after when you meet him he seems to be a hustler that doesn't care about anyone and just wants money he also works with not his son but a smaller animal who helps him get money he also lyes to judy and all he wants is money but like judy he changes later in the film. Both characters are like this because of their backgrounds I won't talk about Nick’s because his background is discussed more in the middle of the film but I can explain Judys she wants to be a cop because when she was young she wanted to be what she wanted and not to be like the rest of the bunny’s in her town and followed dreams to become a police officer. The evidence that this is true is because both characters explain their Backgrounds and why the are like the way they are we are shown in a shoot at the start of the film when Judy is at the play talking about Zootopia and in the middle of the movie when Nick is talking about his background we here judy talking about her being an officer and see her in the play pretending to be one and we also here Nick talking about his past and see him telling Judy. when I watch these parts of the film I think more of the characters backgrounds and I think the director wanted us to think of why the characters are like what they are bye explaining there past this helps the audience realize what the characters have been through and gives them a better understanding of the film This makes the film make more sense because if you didn't know about the characters past the film would make no sense and maybe even be boring. Now I am going to be talking about Judy and Nick in the middle of the film. Now in the middle of the film is when you learn more about Nick's past after Nick talks about his past he changes his behavior and he isn't a rude fox Like he was at the start (well he kinda is) but anyway he is a lot more honest and cares about people instead of scamming them Judy is changed alwell you she has realized that you can't be everything you want and that there are problems in the world and that it's not all perfect like she thought. This is because when Judy went to Zootopia things changed from her normal life and she realized there were problems and not perfect she knows this because she saw a lot of bad things in Zootopia when she went there and Nick changed because he had no friends and when someone (Judy) was friends with him he was a bit more open with himself and told Judy about his past changing how he acts. We are shown this in the shoot where Nick is in the sky tram with Judy and explains his past and with Judy you can slowly tell she is Changing throughout the film when she is trying to find the missing animals with Nick. When I see these scenes I think of Nick and Judy's past when Nick explains his past and I think of Judy at the start. Now let's look at what the characters are like at the end of the film and see how much they have changed. Well we already know that at the start Nick was just a hustler and we know what Judy was like as well However they have changed a lot later in the film first let's look at Judy at the start we knew that she thought anyone could be anything and that there were no problems and that the world is perfect she also was different as a cop how now her job as a cop has changed now Judy knows about problems and that not everything is perfect and that you can't just assume all your problems can easily go away because there are bad problemet might just not seem like it at first and Nick is different as well and I think he changed more than Judy we know that at the start he was just a hustler that didn't care about anyone but now that he has got friends people care about him and that he has spread his story and now he is more open with himself and people can trust not to do bad thing. This is because as a police officer Judy has realized that there are problems and that the world isn't perfect and that there are hard times in life and Nick changed because when he helped Judy with the case the two characters became friends and because in Nick’s past when he had no friends this made him feel better and he became a lot more open with himself and explained to Judy his past and then eventually after working with Judy he got more people liking and not hating him and felt better also making him change a lot. We know this because Nick explains his past to Judy on the sky tram and we know that Judy changed when when she started doing more thing as a police officer trying to find the missing animals and when she was doing this you could see here behavior changing. I think the director wanted to show us how the characters have changed in the film and he also wanted us to know why the characters changed by showing their past and what they have been through slowly throughout the film.

I have also played a game called inter land which is a game about on line safety and you have to do Lot's of challenges to beat the level on of the levels I did was a level where their are trolls and it teaches you how to deal with them and some of the ways are to block them and another way is report them to ban their accounts this way they can not troll you or say harm full things about you again

Anaerobic respiration


Aim: To see how Anaerobic respiration works bye squeezing a peg until your hand gets tired


Hypothesis: what I think will happen is that because I squeeze it lots my finger will get tired of moving because it will have no more energy


Equipment: A close peg


Method: hold the close peg with your finger and thumb and keep on squeezing it until your fingers get tired


results: my hand got tired and I couldn't squeeze it any more because my finger was to weak

Conclusions/discussion  what you saw why: At first my finger felt normal but quickly started to kind of hurt and getting tired after a while it got worse and worse until I stop because it hurt to do it more


Evaluation: The experiment went well and worked fine so I don't know what to do next time differently

Yr 10 PE

1 The event I choose is High jump

2 I choose High jump because it is a simple one to learn and I think it is quit fun

3 The technique for High jump is to run beside the mat and than do a J turn and jump when you jump you will have to twist your body and land on your head

4 I have improved on this event because of the new technique I used I used the flop technique instead of the scissor kick and did better than before I did it in this way

5 To be onset I don't know how to improve more all I can think of is to try jump better and higher but don't know how

6 I would also like to do shot put because I like that to



                                                  What have I learnt in athletics

During athletics I have learnt new ways to do some of the events I have also improved on some but mainly  high jump I have been complemented by students and teachers on this because I have learnt a new way to do it most of the time I did the scissor kick and failed I thought I was bad at high jump and that I've always been bad at it but just the other day I learnt a new technique called the flop to first time a did it I hit the bar but than the next few times I didn't and this definitely improved my high jumping skills and now I can do it without failing.

3. what could I do to improve next time. Well I thick to improve next time I could slow down abit because I did it fast during practise to get it done so if I slow down abit I could play it better

4. What have I found enjoying about learning keyboards. Well i've liked keyboards piano's things like that for a long time I like the sound of them and I like learning them because they are very simple to learn and play also I just think they are fun to play.

5. What did I find challenging about keyboard skill's. Well I dont use instruments much so at first I just found the whole thing confusing but after a while it was just a simple right hand melody that was very easy to play but 1 thing that did challenge me even though I have done it know was the left hand part because even though it was easy bye it self with both the right and left hand melodies together it was really confusing because of the timing expecaly when I first started it

1 what instrument can I hear: in the background I can hear a piano that sounds different at different parts of the song such as it getting either quieter or louder depending on how the singer is singing. in the remake of the song I can hear bongos and drums and I can also hear keyboard like in the first and I can also hear a Guitar.

2 How would I describe the singers voice: it sounds like the singer is sad at some parts because her voice is quit at times however the singer is load at parts strong and listening to her voice you tell tell she is angry as well. in this version the singing sound's smooth and calm at some parts but at other parts it sound's kind of angry like the first song.

3 What kind of feel does this song have: this song to me has a sad feeling. in the remake of the song it still has the  same words and still kind of has a sad feeling but the remade version definitely sounds happier then the other version.
